GUARANTEE

Your satisfaction is important to Island Element!  If you are not satisfied with your items, just return all or part of it within 14 days from the shipping date.  We will exchange the merchandise or refund the purchase amount.  Merchandise that has been washed, worn, or used may not be returned.

ORDERING

Island Element only accepts orders online.  You may order online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While browsing our store, add items to your shopping cart by clicking on the “Add to cart” button on the product page. On items with size as an option, use the pull down menu to select an appropriate size.  These items will then appear in your shopping cart.   You can view your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the “view cart” link on the top navigation bar.  You can easily remove or make changes to items in your shopping cart by clicking on the “remove” link next to the product image in your shopping cart.

When you are finished shopping, click on either the “Checkout” or “Checkout with Paypal” button. There you will be easily guided through the rest of the Island Element secure checkout process. Due to the potential for fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to deny processing of any order.

An order confirmation will be sent to the email address you enter at checkout, confirming that we have received your order.  The best way to check the status of your order is to use the order tracking number provided at the time of purchase. When your package is shipped, you will receive an email notifying you.

If you have any questions or problems, you can call Island Element toll-free at (888) 789-0572, Monday through Thursday, from 9am to 3pm, PST; during off hours you can leave a message and someone will get back to you the next available business day. All orders placed after Friday 1pm PST, will be processed on the following Monday. You can also send an email to orders@islandelement.com.  Emails will be addressed within 3 business days, excluding weekends.

PROMOTIONS

Promotional Products
All promotional offers based upon total sales refers to the subtotal not the grand total. Discounts will affect the subtotal. Promotional hats available are only those shown. No substitutes. The promotional hat on orders that qualify will be from the brand with the majority dollar amount purchased.

Promotional codes must be entered at the time the order is placed during the checkout process to be valid (see screen shot below).

INVENTORY INFORMATION

Out-of-stock items are automatically removed from the online store, but occasionally an item sells out within the day you may order or the site doesn’t reflect the exact inventory quantities. If an item on your order is on back order, we will still ship the available merchandise and notify you by email about any excluded items. If you’re entire order is on back order, we will notify you and provide a projected inventory arrival date.   Island Element does our best to accommodate your needs, but due to popularity certain items sell out quickly.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Island Element accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal for orders placed within the United States. International orders will only be accepted through a valid PayPal account.

Your credit card information is encrypted through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This technology ensures that the information remains private and secure. To check the security of your connection, check the indicator in your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock, then SSL is active. A second method to check for security is to look at the URL line of the browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http://" to "https://".  Some versions of browsers and some firewalls do not permit communication through secure servers. In that case, you'll be unable to connect to the server so you will not have to worry about mistakenly placing an order through an unsecured connection.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Most orders will be shipped within 24 hours of checkout, based on product availability.  Please allow 1-3 business days for order processing.  Island Element cannot guarantee any delivery dates.  All orders in the continental U.S. and Canada will be shipped via FedEx.  All orders to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories will be shipped via USPS.  Subsequently, orders must be shipped to a residential or business street address.  No Post Office Boxes are accepted.  Orders received after 1:00 p.m. PST Monday through Thursday will be shipped the following business day. Orders placed on Friday after 1:00pm PST through Sunday midnight will be shipped the following Monday. Orders are shipped before 4:00 p.m. PST.

At checkout, you may select express shipping options for an additional charge.  Most express shipping option orders will be processed within 24 hours of checkout, pending credit card approval and product availability.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Orders outside the United States, U.S. territories and Canada are available on a selected basis. If we do not currently show your country as a shipping destination, please let us know. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS. ORDERS MUST BE TRANSACTED USING A VALID PAYPAL ACCOUNT. Customers using a credit card with a billing address outside North America should please allow 1 to 3 business days for order processing in addition to the designated shipping time. Please note that we can only ship to international customers when their shipping and billing information match exactly.

We ship international orders via USPS Priority International (6-10 business days). The price is based on the weight of your order and the shipping destination. All international orders shipped must cover the actual shipping charge. Should the shipping charge calculated at checkout not cover the actual shipping charge for your order, you will be notified by email to approve any increase in the charge.

The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Due to U.S. Customs law, Island Element does not designate any international order being shipped as "GIFT". Due to the potential for fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to deny processing of any order.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

United States, U.S. territories and Canada orders have up to 14 days from the date your order was shipped to return any item in which you are not satisfied. Items may be returned by mail to Island Element. Of course, merchandise that has been washed, worn, or used may not be returned.   Items not in satisfactory condition will not be accepted. Due to import duties and taxes levied once a shipment reaches your country, all orders outside the United States, U.S. territories and Canada are final. No returns.

Please allow thirty (30) days for the processing of your return.  Exchange items are not guaranteed to be in stock. If the item is out of stock a credit will be issued.  Your issuing bank may take an additional billing cycle to apply the credit to your card.

Returning to Island Element:

1.     Complete the Returns & Exchanges Form provided with your order or click here to download and print. Select the reason for the return from the list of choices.

2.     You may receive an exact replacement of the item(s) ordered, a different size of the exact item(s) ordered, or a refund on the credit card you used for purchasing. Please indicate your preference under Step 2. Replacement items will be shipped to you free of charge, and sent to the address on the front of the packing slip of the original order.

* When returning product for a refund on the credit card, promotional item(s) must be returned in satisfactory condition. If not, the refund will be reduced by the retail value of the promotional item(s).

3.     Complete the enclosed Returns & Exchanges Form for the item(s) you are returning under Step 3. (It's a good idea to make a copy for your records.) Package the item(s) securely (in new or original packaging), and send back to Island Element. 

4.     For your protection, ship via FedEx, UPS or US Postal Service.  Packages must be returned prepaid.  Island Element cannot accept COD deliveries.  Please note that shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable. Island Element is not responsible for customer returns that are not received.

SALES TAX

We do not charge state sales tax on product orders shipped or gift certificates purchased through Island Element.

PRODUCT COLORS

Please note that due to inconsistencies of how monitors display colors, product shades will vary. We try to depict the product color as accurately as possible by using web safe colors.
